The Mariposa County Government building needed additional office space to accommodate recent growth in staff. This office renovation design included preparing construction-ready AutoCAD drawings, preparing an engineer’s estimate of probable cost, design for office elevations, and details necessary to complete construction of the project in compliance with ADA and other local permitting requirements. We coordinated our design with multiple disciplines including civil, electrical, mechanical, and the building permitting agency. The design required ensuring the electrical and HVAC were updated appropriately, electrical outlets and internet connection points were moved to convenient locations, and the office space access were convenient, the hallway space was ADA compliant, and the entire renovation was coordinated with the existing offices.
